Dr. Widad Elmahboub Director of Nanotab Inc.
Education: PhD in environmental engineering with concentration in applied mathematics and space sciences; Masters in Applied Physics; BS in Physics-Astronomy. Research area is in 1) advanced simulation, applied mathematics, remote sensing image processing-image analysis/interpretation including hyperspectral data analysis; 2) space sciences including digital data processing and interpretation of planetary surface of Earth and Mars, and 3) simulation and modeling in the area of Nano-indentation and Micro-indentation and Bio-linear behavior of FCC materials. Current research interest focus in the area medical remote sensing that spans diseases including cancer through computational algorithm to accurately classify diseases’ sites in human body and cancer tumors and the spread of cancer as well as accurately compute the size and intensity of the tumor in three dimensions.

Dr. Zeng Zhi
Dr.  Zeng Zhi is specialized in the study on the similarity-based classification problem, which is to estimate the class label of a test sample based on the similarities between the test sample and a set of labeled training samples, and the pairwise similarities between the training samples. My idea is using sparse representation. Based on a proposed kernelized orthogonal matching pursuit algorithm, I have presented a novel kernelized similarity-based classification framework. Meanwhile, non-negative matrix factorization is also considered to solve the similarity-based classification problem.

Nanotab Inc. Mission Statement

Nanotab Inc. is building creative ideas for SBIRE research’s sponsors in advanced simulation. Nanotab Inc.’s mission constantly endeavors to succeed and compete in order to win NASA-sponsors’ contracts as well as other agencies, in modeling and simulation of signatures of Mars’s Minerals in the visible and near infrared regions of the spectrum (350-1400 nanometers); to process and interpret planetary surface of Earth; to develop simulation and modeling in the area of Nano-indentation and Micro-indentation and Bio-linear behavior of FCC materials; and support/conduct researches focusing on interpretation and analysis of diseases’ sites in human body  through medical remote sensing techniques. It also focuses on cancer computational algorithm to accurately classify tumors through medical remote sensing techniques/image processing and interpretation; and compute the size and intensity of tumor in three dimensions.

History
Nanotab Inc. was formally established in 2006. The founder’s partners focused on modeling in the area of Nano-indentation, Micro-indentation, and Bio-linear behavior of FCC materials and based upon long years of research expertise. Now Nanotab Inc. is focusing on several researches’ diverse expertise in its mission.
